The subclass inherits the members of the superclass, on top of which it can add its own members. he idea of inheritance is that a class can be defined to borrow behavior (member variable and member methods) from another class.When we define a subclass, we place the name of the parent(superclass) in parentheses after the subclass’s(child) name on the first line of the definition.
